Description
Even as a kid, Plastic Man always came off as obnoxious and weird. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's his strangely awkward uniform and the fact that he always tries too hard to be cool. You know the type. Maybe his creator, Jack Cole, intended him to be like that.

I wouldn't say plastic Man was obnoxious. Maybe more of an awkward social misfit (He calls to mind a line from Billy Joel's "Still Rock'n'Roll to Me":
["What's the matter with the clothes I'm wearing?"
"Can't you tell that they're out of style"])
I didn't get incredibly into Plastic Man, but always thought his name was a bit of a misnomer. It should have been Rubber Man, if you really think about it! LOL! Of course, I don't know if that character is already out there.
Sidenote: Plastic Man would make for an interesting movie, I think. Maybe not a good one, but interesting, nonetheless.
